THE DENIS MARCHAIS WINERY is located in the heart of the Nantais Vineyards at La Sablette De Mouzillon, France.Their first vineyard in the Clos de la Sablette was created in 1860. Originally only producing the wines of "Loire", Vouvray, Muscadet and Sancerre, Denis Marchais established themselves as a leader in the region. Recently, Denis Marchais has expanded their portfolio to include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from the Vins De Pays appellation. Now a very modern winery, their annual production is almost 3,000,000 cases.

DENIS MARCHAIS VOUVRAY
One of the specialties from the Loire Valley.This wine is fresh, crisp and fruity in an off dry style. The bouquet is intense aromas of honey, cinnamon and cloves. A full-bodied wine that is rich and rounded with intense flavors. Delicious all by itself or with lighter dishes.

DENIS MARCHAIS CHARDONNAY
Full of varietal character, this wine is wonderfully fresh, crisp and dry with fruity overtones of green apples. An excellent compliment to seafood, poultry and most light dishes.

DENIS MARCHAIS CABERNET SAUVIGNON
The deep red color, velvety texture, complex nose and tannis structure proclaim this wine to be a classic Cabernet Sauvignon. Full-bodied with a bouquet of black currants and cedar. A full-bodied, complex wine, it pairs nicely with all hearty dishes.

DENIS MARCHAIS MERLOT
The nose on this wine is bursting with ripe fruit and licorice. It is a very deep rose color with light blue tints. A rich palatewith dissolved tannins, with hints of black cherries and chocolate.

DENIS MARCHAIS SYRAH
This varietal is a deep rose color with a scarlet hue. A complex nose of violets, spices, pepper and anise. Deep, rich and full-bodied, it is a perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, BBQ, chili and most full-flavored dishes.
